Philip Jones trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts where he gained a BA(hons) degree in Technical Theatre. Over the past few years Philip has accumulated a broad spectrum of Lighting Design credits to his name, having lit Theatrical productions, Showcases, Musical Theatre, Contemporary Dance and Burlesque. In addition to this, he has also gained experience as an in-house technician, freelance crew, followspot operator, board programmer and operator and stage management.
He has lit shows at the Edinburgh Festival, New Player's Theatre in London's West End, Stratford Circus, Hampstead Theatre, and established fringe venues such as Pleasance Islington, Greenwich Playhouse, Arcola Theatre, Landor Theatre, Tabard Theatre and the Camden People's Theatre.
